Why people who care about food carry a Milly
Cracks peppercorns on the first turn.
The hardened steel burr handles Tellicherry pepper, Himalayan sea salt, and whole sea salt without jamming. No "salt dust" finish, no drama.
Loads with anything dry and whole.
Pepper today, pink salt tomorrow, coriander seeds for that curry next week. Twist off the cap, fill it, twist closed. Ten seconds.
304 stainless. No plastic. No batteries.
Same grade of steel used in commercial kitchens and surgical tools. Nothing to wear out, no rubber gaskets to perish, no batteries that die at the wrong moment.
Cap stays on. Doesn't leak. Goes through TSA.
Tested by people who lost a lot of luggage. Designed to live on your keys without tearing up your jeans or spilling its load on your laptop.
The original Kickstarter demo.
Three years of obsession in 90 seconds. Watch the grinder that earned its place on thousands of keyrings.
How to use it.
Twist off the cap.
The top unscrews cleanly. Set the cap aside — you'll put it back in 10 seconds.
Load it.
Peppercorns, sea salt flakes, coriander, mustard seed, dried chili — whatever's whole and dry. About a teaspoon at a time.
Grind onto your food.
Twist the top. Turn slowly for a coarse crack, faster for a fine grind. That's it. There's nothing else to it.

Originally funded by Kickstarter backers.
Milly didn't start as a "DTC product." It started as a problem one of us couldn't stop thinking about: why is the world's oldest spice still served from the world's worst delivery system?
Three years of prototypes later — including a few that looked great and ground like garbage — we shipped the first batch to our Kickstarter backers. They didn't ask for refunds. They asked for second ones to keep at the office. So we made more.
This is that grinder, refined. Same body. Same grind. New cap. Available now without the wait list.

Questions you'd be a fool not to ask.
How fine does it grind?
Adjustable from cracked peppercorn to fine table grind — controlled by how tight you turn the burr. Default ships at medium grind, which is the right answer for ~95% of food.
Will it leak in my pocket?
No. The threaded cap holds the contents in even when you're sprinting for a flight. We tested this with people who lost a lot of luggage.
Can I throw it in the dishwasher?
You can, but you shouldn't. Stainless steel handles dishwashers fine, but salt + dishwasher detergent + a tight burr eventually dulls the grind. Rinse, wipe, done. Two seconds.
Does it really replace a normal pepper grinder?
For everyday meals — yes. It holds about a teaspoon, which is more than most people grind in a sitting. If you're seasoning a brisket for 12, get a bigger grinder. For everything else, this is the only one you'll reach for.
How long does one fill last?
Depends on how heavy you season. Most people refill once every 5–10 days of normal use.
Can I take it on a plane?
Yes. It's TSA-compliant, contains no liquids or sharp edges. You'll get more questions from curious seatmates than from security.
Is this for cannabis?
No. It's a spice grinder, engineered for hard, dry whole spices. Anything sticky will gum the burr and we won't replace it under warranty.
What's the warranty?
Lifetime against manufacturing defects. 30-day money-back guarantee on the product itself.
Where does it ship from? How fast?
Ships from our US warehouse within 1–2 business days. Standard US shipping arrives in 3–5 business days. Free US shipping on orders $50+.
What if I lose it?
Then you'll do what most of our customers do, which is buy another one. The integrated keyring loop is there for a reason — use it.
Spend $89.00 once. Carry it for the next ten years.
Or keep buying $4 plastic grinders that crack on the third trip and end up in the bin within a year. Your call.
